Women’s Mountain Bike Off-Road Group Ride
This is a ladies-only off-road mountain bike ride for less aggressive female riders with an emphasis on helping newer riders to become more confident while also having fun on the dirt. Although intended for entry-level (not advanced) riders, the expectation is that participants will have at least done some riding off-road prior to attending. Ride time is typically around 60-90 minutes and followed by a “reward” (i.e. margaritas @ El Jardin!).
The ride leaves from the pool parking lot in Rockport Park on Janesville’s west side at 6:00pm every Wednesday (when trail conditions are appropriate). Join the JVC email list to get group ride updates.

This group usually rides 30 – 40 miles to a neighboring town for breakfast, then, depending on rider's schedules, some ride back to Janesville, and others will go longer – pushing total miles to possibly 100. We average 13-16 mph. We meet at Palmer Park in the morning with the ride time changing depending upon sunrise and temperature. Early and late in the season we will meet closer to 11 AM. As the season warms up we meet as early as 6:30. We do not leave anybody stranded by themselves. So if your schedule allows, feel free to join us.
